Q: Pain during bowel movements

I have been having alot of pain while going to the toilet to do a poo. After I wipe my bottom I find blood on the toilet paper and often find little blood clots. What could be causeing this?

More than likely, you have hemorrhoids or an anal fissure.

Your physician should be able to provide a specific diagnosis (and treatment plan) after examining you. Meanwhile, stay on a lowfat, high fiber diet, with plenty of water and fresh fruits and vegetables.
