Unfortunately, breast pain (mastodynia) is quite common, particularly in young women. Additionally, at your age, active breast development is still ongoing, and this is often associated with breast discomfort, which may be more noticeable around the time of your menstrual period.

Fortunately, breast cancer is seldom associated with significant breast pain, and breast cancer is very rare at your age. However, you should consider having your family doctor or gynecologist perform a thorough breast examination, just to make sure that there are no lumps or other abnormalities in your breasts. While it is unlikely that your breast pain represents any serious illness, having youe doctor examine you may help to reassure you that everything is okay,

Sincerely/ Robert A. Wascher, MD, FACS

Lots of breast pain is caused by iodine deficiency. We have an iodine deficiency in the US! Its just not in our food anymore and although they put it in salt it way too little. It use to be put into bread but they took that out and put bromide in instead, which is toxic and will build up in your thyroid as it is attracted to the same receptor sites as iodine.

Just look at the skyrocketing rates of hypothyroidism. Why is that? Why are so many people thyroid hormone deficient? Thyroid hormone is constructed around an iodine molecule. No iodine, no thyroid hormone. If people had more iodine that problem would go away too.

The breast tissue is a heavy iodine user. Do a search on supplementing with potassium iodide. It was invented over 100 years ago by a French man named Lugol.

It can eliminate breast cysts as well as many benign thyroid cysts and thats how I got rid of my breast and thyroid cysts. My thyroid doctor told me they would never go away and they did after a few month of iodine supplementation.

Do not use the iodine from the local drug store, This is not the right stuff!

When I started supplementing I did it with the assist of my physician. She checked my thyroid a couple of times that year. Now I take 4 drops of potassium iodide a day in water or juice. It will get rid of painful breasts and it will help to regulate your hormones, as it strengthens and fortifies and normalizes thyroid function. If your lumps in your breast are benign they will go away. Iodine deficiency has a strong correlation with breast cancer and a healthy breast and the prostate need much more iodine that other body parts. The brain needs it too!

So do some homework and find out for yourself!
