I had a white filling in my tooth 2 half months ago. I have since been back for 3 tooth filings (because when I first wake up in the morning the tooth feels like its way too high, but as the morning progresses it doesn't feel too high at all). The denist cheerfully told me that if it still feels uncomfortable to come back until Im comfortable. Which sounds great that he so accommodating but is really ridiculous. Am I to go back ad infinitum. I am getting highly irritated with this situation. I cannot eat without pain. Just recently I have noticed a dull pulsing in the bottom of the filled tooth when Im not eating. I am not sensitive to hot or cold just pressure on the tooth. The gum directly beneath the tooth is sensitive to pressure when I gingerly press on it. I'm unemployed, I have no insurance and after spending $200 for this filling I have no money to spend on further dental work. I'm beginning to feel very angry and trapped in this situation.
I agree with previous posts this white filling situation needs to be investigated. A lot of people appear to be paying good money for shoddy results.
