I have been getting strange symptoms after getting sick with common upper resp infections. I've been getting pain and swelling on the bottom of my feet, bodyaches, pain in my ankles and knees, fatigue, and once my bottom lip swelled. Also I've suddenly lost 10-15 lbs and the hair on my legs is disappearing. My PCP blew me off. I dont know what to think. Other than the weight and hair loss, the symptoms seem to always follow an infection of some kind

Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Complete blood count , ESR, sputum for AFB and a chest x ray should be advised. If the ankles are edematous then an echocardiogram should also be done to determine the cause. In short further workup is needed. You can ask your GP to refer you to an internal medicine specialist.

Wishing you best of health
