For the past year or so I've had to ask my mom whether or not I'd missed my period because my cycles are so irregular. I'm eighteen and have been menstruating for around six years. I've always had heavy bleeding, but in recent years my period has been very painful. The best way I can describe the pain is 'it feels like someone is trying to rip a grappling hook from inside my body'. My mom has endometriosis and ovarian cysts (both of which I believe are hereditary?). I'm hypoglycemic and iron deficient anemic (lucky me), which I think may be causing the severe diziness I experienced today. We can't really afford a visit to a doctor because we don't have insurance ( and we aren't doing so well financially). The nearest clinic is two hours away, but it's kind of gloomy and has an unsanitary feel to it.

I don't really know what I'm asking for. Advice or opinions, I guess. I'm sorry if any of this is choppy or doesn't make sense. That would probably be because it is almost one in the morning (I'm an insomniac too). Thank you for anything and everything.

Progesterone Cream
It helped my period SO MUCH!!! I am usually hurled over in pain but when I placed some on my thighs and upper inner arms during ovulation time my periods were feeling like perfect! No pain! If i did feel a little pain in the back, i would rub some on there.

U can get it at a PHARMACY in the Menopause section. Look for Micronized Progesterone..

Remember it is a hormone so be careful...its perfectly fine to use it for the two weeks before your period.
