About a month ago I started having think white discharge that I thought was a yeast infection. Then after having intercourse one time 3 weeks ago the discharge started to change into a thinner light yellow discharge, and I started having SEVERE itching and burning. I went to the doctor who preformed tests for all STDs. When I went for my results she told me that they came back negative for all STDs including trich, but did have a slight UTI. The discharge, itching and pain continued to get worse. I tried monestat to treat for a yeast infection but that did nothing. My mom gave me some flagil and told me it was probably bv. After a few days with the symptoms not getting any better I called the doctor and the nurse told me that my results were clear of stds but that it did come back for positive for bv, which the doctor had not informed me. I do have another appointment scheduled at the end of the month with the doctor again because while taking flagil had decreased the pain and discharge it is not fully gone and it has been a week. I am super worried and was wondering what the problem could be? Please give me some clue because I am freaking out here! thanks.
