My spleen was lacerated in an automobile accident 8 years ago and I was flown to a trauma center where I had an embolization. For the last 8 years I have been relativly pain free but over the last 2 months I have been expieriencing pain in my left shoulder as well as my left upper abdomen. It has been coming more often and lingering longer. My Dr. sent me for a CT scan and he says the report says that everything looks "normal". I still thing something is wrong. Why else would pain suddenly start 8 years later and become more frequent?

Any info on complications arising from my procedure would be helpful.
