Q: Pain after ejaculation

I am a 20 year old man, and for the last year or so every so often when I masturbate about 5 minutes after ejaculation I need to pass urine and after that I get a stinging sensation in the shaft of my penis.

This doesn't happen everytime, but I think it has been getting more regular recently. I can't seem to notice any pattern to it, so I don't know what its caused by. I have a girlfriend and after sex I have never had the same problem.

The pain lasts about 10-15 minutes. It isn't agony but uncomfortable.

What kind of thing could this be? I'm a little embarrassed to go to the GP until I have some idea what it could be.

No ideas? It would be great to get some idea of what it could be...

It might possibly be a urinary tract infection or you might possibly have prostitis, an inflammation of the prostate...although you are awfully young for that...would be best if you went to your GP. And don't be embarrased...doctors have seen it all.

I get a similar un-comfortable feeling if i orgasm/ejaculate after I've been drinking. three or four beers or more and if I jerk off then it's like that.

uncomfortable sensation that feels like i need to urinate... I try not to please myself after drinking as it's not very comfortable, although it lasts about 15 minutes or so?

Maybe what ever you use to masturbate is getting in your uretha and causing an reaction from irritation similar to a UTI or maybe actually causing a UTI (urinary tract infection)
