I gave birth to my first child in Feb.2005 and had a 4th degree tear. The inside stitches got really infected and so the outside stitches that were already not done as well as I would have liked...ended up not healing properly. My doctor had suggested that we could fix it all after giving birth to my 2nd child (Mar.2007) but that was never done. I recently had a pretty sexually active weekend and think that the scar I had might have opened up. It's very painfull and feels like the whole pelvic floor pulls. Is that heard of? Do you recommend having a fix-up surgery? Could I have suffered an hematoma, there was always a bit of swelling under the scar?
