Q: Pain after appendix removal

I had gone in for a laparoscopy surgery for my endometriosis. They had noticed that my appendix was wrapped around my ovary so they removed it. I'm healing well but for some reason a couple days ago, 3 days after surgery, I'm getting this annoying and hurtful pain under my ribcage on the left side. It hurts to breathe. It's an aggrevating pain that will not go away. I also noticed that I'm burping, like a reflux problem, when I haven't even ate. What could this be. Should I be concerned. The gases still can't be in my body. It's one week that I had the surgery.

Your symptoms can be due to gastritis or pancreatitis.
There are cases when patients who participate in abdominal surgery, soon after the surgery develop symptoms of gastritis or pancreatitis.
