Q: pain after appendectomy

In the past 5 and 1/2 months I have had a total vaginal hysterectomy, gallbadder surgery, umbilical hernia repair and appendectomy.
The appendectomy has been the worst. Developed cellulits around incision of the hernia repair and abdominal wall. The pain is so severe around where the appendix was. Does anyone have a clue?
Thanks

(male) I've also had an appendectomy (08 Feb). I had pain after. But, I was told it was from my muscles and tissues needing time to heal. It took 6 months to do so (for the most part). My right side has pretty much healed (with the exception of the 4" scar). But, to add, a month ago, I noticed an abnormal looking "lump" within the left wall of my umbilical/naval area. Umbilical hernia? I'm wondering if the past surgery could have had anything to do with it.
