I had a large filling put in my front tooth a couple of days ago. It looks great but it began to hurt after the numbness wore off. The pain was not severe, it was periodic, sharp, shooting pain and occasionally the tooth next to it will ache a bit. It seems to be easing up and the dentist said I did not need a root canal. I was just wondering if this pain was normal.
