Q: Pacemaker experiences ???

I was just wondering if anyone could give me information on how they feel their life has been changed by a pacemaker..if they had a choice again would they want one...

I have innaprorpiate sinus tachycardia..and have had it for atleast the past 7 years. Resting heart rate of 120...so you can imagine what it goes up to when i'm actually exerting myself. I can't exercise..i get tired constantly. And I'm at the point where I don't care what they have to do to fix me.

I saw my electrophisiologist today and he prescribe a medicine, acebutolol for me to try..but it's pretty much my last option for meds. I've tried 10 none helped and they made me feel worse and most of them made me pass out.

Just trying to weigh my options I have 6 weeks to decide if it's what I want or not..

Thanks..
