Hello:

I have a pacemaker and a defibulator, and am having trouble with the medicine, that I am taking, and the Dr. says to keep taking it. Does anyone else out there have a defibulator, and have you ever been shocked?

sternum
Hello:

I am sorry to hear that you don't have a sternum, I know that my pacemaker/defibulator gets in my way also when I am sleeping, but I can see how you would have alot of trouble. I had my pace/defibulator put in on July of 2000. Just had my medicine changed to metropole and it isn't agreeing with me to well. What kind of medicine do you take for your heart problem? Mine is an electrial problem in the lower part the ventricle.

Yes you can fly with a defibrillator. It's security that may be a problem. You should have a card that says you have an implanted system. If you do not I would contact the company that made your defibrillator and they can send you one.
