Q: Oxytrol Patch interaction in salt water

I am trying to get info from anyone who knows if swimming in the ocean will affect the performance of the Oxytrol patch. My Dr. isn't sure and my pharmacist doesn't know, he just knows that swimming won't affect it. I called the company and they were no help either. I'm hoping to find someone who uses the patch and has been in salt water.

Thanks

Denise

I don't think there would be a problem going into the water with this patch.
I am not to familiar with it.
I know some patches you have to be careful of sun/heat exposure.
Can you take a shower with this patch on?

I do take a shower and swim in a swimming pool with no problems however I am concerned that the salt water in the ocean will cause problems. I'm hoping to find someone who has been in the salt water with a patch and knows for sure.

Thanks,

Denise
