Ok I have been stressed latly which has effected my menstral cycle this month. I am normally a 21-28 day cycle. My last period started on june 15th 2008. I though I ovulated on the 29th of june. (Lots of egg white mucus) however my preg test by the doctor says negative and now its july 22nd and i have had off and on cramps a week or two ago for a week...i tested again just in case 2 days ago and was still negative.....so is it possible i did not ovulate and i still could??? OR how does it work does ovulation happen 2 week before your period always...i know it varied from the start of your period but now I am just not sure. I took my bbt the am before and it was 97.22 this morning it was 97.78 and i slept great but i did take a sleeping med last night at 10 pm....

thanks for the help

First of all, you'll want to check and see if sleeping medication can affect bbt. I think it might.

Anyway, ovulation should happen about 14 days before your period regardless of when your period decides to show up. If you're getting negative tests I would assume that you're just having an irregular or anovulatory cycle.

Good luck! Keep at it, you'll be pregnant soon Smile
