ovulation usually happens 10-14 days into most womens cycles..i think the only noticeable change would be the cervical mucous/discharge...but there aren't really many "symptoms" as you say..if you're trying to track when you would ovulate you can go buy an instrument and enter in the date of your last period and it will calculate your most fertile days..this works best if you have a REGULAR cycle

After. Usually about 1/3ed of the way into the time between periods as the last person said.

And some women know when it happens, others don't. For me I know when it happens on the right side, as there's a small pain. It all depends on who you are.

depends on how you look at it Wink it happens BEFORE your next period but 10-14 days after your last period Smile haha
usually midway between your period is when you can bet on ovulating...a woman who has a regular cycle of 28 days would probably be most fertile between days 12 and 14 of her cycle i do believe..someone correct me if i'm wrong

You ovulate about 2 weeks BEFORE your period. Your period is dependent on when you ovulate-- no matter how you look at it. Wink

Eekitsjessie, here's a very thorough explaination of menstruation and ovulation.

Symptoms of ovulation are hard to pinpoint unless you've been charting them for months. If pregnancy is a worry, then you need to use a form of birth control

I'm not entirely sure. I don't know a lot about PCOS other than what it is and possible symptoms.

But I suppose when a woman experiences bleeding when she, for whatever reason, doesn't ovulate could be likened to how women bleed when taking birth control pills (which stops ovulation). A shift in hormones causes bleeding that is like actual menstruation, but not.

Does that answer your question kinda? Which symptoms of PCOS do you mean?

You need to wait to test, but you lowered the chances of pregnancy by taking EC.

You NEED to start using condoms or something!
