Q: Ovulation bleeding symptoms
asked by: DoctorQuestion on September 24th, 2008
In Sept. my period came 7 days early, lasted the normal 7 days. the first 4 were spotty light brown and the last 3 were heavier than usual. Then 11 days after my period ended I am having this very light pink spotting that has been going on for about 7 hours. Can you help me?

This light pink spotting in the middle of the cycle could be an ovulation bleeding. If it is an ovulation bleeding it should stop spontaneously in a few days.

If bleeding doesn't stop in a week or become very heavy you may want to consult your gynecologist.
