I just went off the pill on September 5th 2009, I do really want to get pregnant in this month or next but now am reading that it might take 3 to 6 months.
How do i know if I am ovulating regularly?
I have read that some people do not ovulate right after going off the pill , is this true? And how do you change that if you can?
I have been having cramping and very bloated after going off the pill and just this week had a large Tablespoon of white egg like mucus expel. What does this mean? We have been having intercourse every other day if not every day. What do you think our chances are of conceiving soon??
thanks

that means that you need to have sex right away because that egg white mucus means that you are ovulating woman! go make your baby. and no it does not take that long, No 3 to 6 months girl. that slippery stuff is your cervical mucus that means you are fertile. and since you mentioned that it was a "Large tablespoon" of mucus that just means that you are super fertile.

so if I would not have had that much mucus expel then that means I'm not as fertile?
I had mucus expel when I was on the pill but just little bits, this was very very unusual and alot.
I pray that it worked and thank you for your response!!!!
We did have sex that day and the next so I guess we will see what happens!!! I am due for my period next week but then again if it doesn't happen I'm not sure what to expect since I just went off the pill.
Cross your fingers for me!!!
thanks again,

Your welcome, If it doesn't happen let me know and we will figure it out. I am also trying to concieve. Hey by any chance do you have facebook? You could find me on facebook as (Stephanie Hadassah Bat Emunah) to answer your question that Mucus should look like egg white should also feel that way and it can also be egg white feel and can stretch on your fingers about 10 inches. I think you should get this book called "Taking charge of your fertility, By: Toni Weschler" Believe me it will work I am not giving you empty promises here I am giving you a guarantee and when I get pregnant this month I will tell you and you will see that I meant all this information that I have given you. I have the book. You can get it at any local library or order it online. I didn't even know that this book existed I just picked it up at my school library and I was shocked because it answered all my questions. I was just like you and when I found this book I was totally relieved I didn't pay anything I just found it at the library.

that is good have sex until the mucus goes dry and if you did that is good because there is a good chance you will most certainly be pregnant! don't test anywhere until about a week after your period is due and if you happen to see small drops stain like blood that is not your period that means you are pregnant, Take your temperature and if it goes high for 18days in a row over 100 degrees F you are most definatley pregnant! but you need to wait at least a week after your missed period, that is assuming that you do not have your period.
