Q: Ovulation after D&C ?

So my fiance & I have decided to ttc again right away. (For those of you who don't know, I had to have a D&C this past Wednesday at 11 weeks pregnant due to a blighted ovum.) We discussed holding off for a while, but we desperately want a baby, so we figured we'd just jump right back on the baby-making wagon.
My Dr. said that we could start having sex again 7-10 days after the procedure, and that my cycle should return in 4-6 weeks...What I'm wondering is (and I'm so sorry if this is like, the dumbest question ever!
) but when would it be likely that I would first ovulate again - before my next period or after it? Like, is there any chance that I will ovulate between now and my period, or do you think it will take a full cycle before I ovulate again?

I have heard of a lot of people who become pregnant right after a miscarriage without a period and deilver healthy babies. I hope it happens very soon for you guys. You deserve it!!!

You would O before your next period. Many women get pregnant again before their next period. However when I had a m/c last July at 16wks (the baby died at 9.5wks) I had to have a D&C and it took forever for my body to get back to normal. It took 45 days for me to get my 1st period and than after that my cycles stayed really long.....it was hard. I did finally get pregnant again in Feb 08 but that too ended in a m/c. 
It should be interesting to see how my body responds after this m/c. They say that the later you m/c in your pregnancy the longer it can take for your body to regulate itself again.
I hope that this isn't the case with you and that you get your BFP really soon!!
