I just was at the doctor, I had started feeling terribly exhausted on Monday -- I was diagnosed with a UTI and after saying my right side hurt they did an ultrasound and found 2 cysts that had just recently ruptured on my right ovary. I was in the doctor on Thursday and just started menstruating on Wednesday. I do not get a regular period, I have an IUD, which I've had for about 2.5 years. I am confused, was I actually having a period, and I believe the two rupturing cysts were signs of ovulating --- which is what the ultrasound technician kind of make me believe..??? Thank you.
