Can a slight increase of white creamy discharge mean that i am ovulating? Also last night (4 May 2009) i was feeling a bit sick but didn't vomit and had a sore back and stomach - does that mean that i could potentially be pregnant, i have been trying to get pregnant and think that my most fertile time is between the 2nd May - 8th Many. I really need advice as i really want a baby.

Thanks

To my knowledge, white discharge can be a sign of a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis but not of ovulation. From everything I have heard or read, ovulation usually causes a clear discharge with about the same consistency of egg whites. If you touch it with your fingers and pull them apart, it should be a little stretchy or stringy.

Ok, deteragram was right. It can be a sign of a infection. And sometimes you can have an infection with no symptoms. But a creamier white discharge can be normal too. Some pregnant women do experience it. But if your most fertile days were just this past week. and still through these next couple days, then I would not think it's pregnanct ALREADY. If by chance, your egg is fertilized, it has to make a journey still. And I believe implantation can take 7-10 days. ? But, it may be a sign that you already did ovulate. And you may see that the creamy discharge gradually goes away. You can find the stages of 'discharge' or 'cervical mucous' right on google, or ask jeeves. It will tell you what to expect after your period, leading up to ovulation, during ovulation, and after ovulation. Just google ovulation stages, or cervical mucous. Good luck
