This may be a silly question, but do you ovulate while you are on the pill? If not, how long can it take to begin ovulating again once you've stopped taking the pill? I have been off since January 2008 (and was on it for MANY MANY years before that). I started taking ovulation tests and they always show me as not ovulating.

No, you don't ovulate on the pill. Most women begin to ovulate soon after they stop the pill, unless another condition prevents it.

Have you had your period since Jan-Feb?
