Ovigyn-d contains a hormone HCG and it is given for induction of ovulation if eggs are not being released and Susten is a hormone Progesterone supplement. It has various uses and is given in case of pregnancy for sustaining the pregnancy if there is a risk of miscarriage or due to hormonal imbalances. Both the drugs are safe to use but they would have been prescribed after evaluation by your treating doctor if there is any risk factor or if there is history of miscarriage or if the hormonal levels are low.
You should have discussed with your treating doctor about the details.
Dr. Mitaly, My name is swathi i have a irregualr period problem and i m trying to get concive my doctor prefered me sustain 300 tablet nd i dont know how to use this tablet so can u suggest me how to use it...
Dear Shridiva Ovigyn D is an harmone its DHEA it is an drug given for ovulation induction. and its very much safe to consume as it helps to poor responders and also it rejuvenet the overian Enviroment and it will improve the AMH level of womens also it decreases the Miscarriage rate by 80 % there is no side effect to take it it will help you to concive
Ovigyn-D is Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) 25 mg, it will help in recruiting primary filicles to folicular maturation and more than 15 mm size is acheived. The doctor had given this combination, may be due to the underdevelopment of folicles or considering the age factor of the patient, becoz, DHEA is given for Diminished Ovarian Reserve and Premature Ovarian Aging, and folicle underdevelopment condition. And as u told Susten is given for maintainance of pregnancy, but not as 300 mg, for maintanance it is 200(BID to TID as its half life is low) and 300 is given for Leuteal Phase Defect, and that too from 17th day for 10 days. Hope u also got a better clarity.
I am trying to conceive from last 3 years. My IUI failed on first attempt and the reason given was high LH. I am going for next attempt. LH level is above 8 on my 3rd day of period. Doctor has informed me that it should be below 1 and have asked me to take ovigyn d 25 mg for 3 months. He has suggested an alternative of ovisterone if the former is not available. Are we following on right track? If so, which one is the better tab. Thanks.
