i am 19 years old and i have been experiencing bad ovary pains for over a year now the pain is usually on the left lower side near ovary and in the middle of the lower abdomen, and just resently moving on to the right lower abdomen near the ovary as well, i have seen 3 different doctors, none of which seem to know what the problem is, and i have had a blood test and an abdominal/pelvic ultrasound all came back normal. i bloat all the time, after eating or drinking anything and i am also constipated, my periods have changed in this time aswell and are now quite heavy and the blood is a dark brownish colour. i have done my research on the internet after being sent away from the doctors with no answers, and i found conditions that link to my pains and symptoms, which are endometriosis, cyst's, ovarian cancer, and cervical cancer, i really would appreciate your avidce and suggestiond for what this could be, so that i can get this sorted out.

many thanks for your time it really is much appreciated.

I really wish I could help you but all I can say is keep being persistent -- this is your body after all and if you don't insist on getting help, who will? I have most of these same problems so when you figure out what is causing them could you let me know? Thanks & I hope you get some answers soon!

if you had an ultrasound done, then this shouldve ruled out you having a cyst on your ovaries.
a year ago i had spotting for weeks, then i would bleed heavy with clots. i found out through a ultrasound i have a cyst on my ovary.
my doctor also tooks tests to rule out infection, cancer, fibroid tumors. and anything else. i did have to get surgery. they wanted to put a camera inside me to see if they can see any invaders. and they gave me a d&c (scraping the lining of my uterus) because when your bleeding for a long time it builds up the lining of your uterus and the doctor scraped it (d&c)this is the procedure they give women who miscarry or abort their baby.
your doctor has to rule out all those things. and they always tell you to get on birth control to see if it regulates your period.
