I am 10 weeks out from a 3 hour op for a LAVH, anterior/posterior repair and monarch slingplasty. Felt weepy a week or so out from surgery so started on microgynon 20 ED contraceptive to tide me over for a few months with hormones (didn't want hormone issues on top of recovery). I kept my ovaries which were still working as I had regular to the day periods and the surgery was to fix a prolapse and cycstocele not for any other problem. 4 weeks ago on an ultusound my ovaries have now moved to low down in the pelvic rim and they are atrophied! I had this scan repeated again the other day and one has disappeared and the other has shrunk even more! What has he done to me? Why would this have happened to good ovaries? Help.
