I have extreme cramping/pressure in my ovaries and in that area in general. I took pepto and ibuprofin and neither worked!! This is my second day of this and the pain lasts for over an hour amd is enough to make me curl up in pain, which is hard to make me do. I play soccer and my period is this coming week so I've been drinking more and taking more ibuprofin. I was also in a car crash recently so I'm taking pills for that. I'm on birth control, nicon. I've missed a couple pills recently and taken two at a time, but I've done that before without this pain. I went off birth control for a while but am now on it again. I have not been pregnant nor have I had unprotected sex. I'd like to know what this is about and what I can do to dull the pain. Thanks for any/all help!!!

I've had pain in my ovaries as well, also while on the pill. I went to the ER because I was afraid it was an appendix. I was told I had a cyst on my ovary. As far as a "solution" I tried not drinking coffee. I've noticed that coffee and stress are triggers for ovary pain. I went to 2 doctors to investigate the problem, but had no clear answer.
