Hi! New to this forum and looking for advice. I am a teacher and have had an extremely stressful year at work. Personal life was also stressful. Married off my younger daughter, my other daughter having her 1st baby. Showers and weddings!! Anyway, I thought that changes in bowel habits (began with diarreah and now have pencil stools and tons of bloating with extreme fatigue) were the result of stress. Went to gastro. doc. He ordered ultrasound, colonoscopy and endoscopy. Ultrasound showed cyst on both ovaries. Fibroid tumor in uterus. Then had MRI of pelvis. OB/BYN doc says I have a cyst within a cyst. She suggests that we wait 3 months and retest. I questioned her decision asking whether cyst could be cancerous in light of my symptoms. She now ordered CA125. Endoscopy shows an ulcer. Doc. took biopsies during endoscopy and colonoscopy. Results are not yet back. OK so here's my question. Should I get a 2nd opinion? Should I press to have ovary removed? Help! I want to get be well before school starts in September.
