In addition: in the first visits to your doctor when you are first pregnant are usually when you get a pap smear. Again at your 6 week checkup. So if your baby is 2, you've have a pap smear within the last 2 years. That is good news.
Bleeding changes when we get older. It might be time for your hormones (late 30's) to start changing, that would throw your period off.
When did you get your pap smear? When did the doctor say you should expect results?[/quote]
Well, I am meeting with my doctor again on Friday, I haven't spoken with her about the results, but the secretary said they all came back normal. My doctor wants me to come back and do more tests and I'm going to ask for my hormone levels to be checked. The cramps are gone at the moment (but I'm in the middle of my cycle) But I still have blood in my urine. (decected only through tests) and I've had that for 3 years. So, she's going to do another series of tests. Is there any other tests I should ask her to do that you might think necessary? Could the blood in my urine have anything to do with the fact that I was Strep B positive? (a friend mentioned that to me?) I'm still very tired, and my vision (in my left eye) is a little blurred and am still getting little headaches, so I'm going to talk to her about that too. I have an appt. with an optometrist tomorrow and doctor on friday. So we'll see how the next tests come back in a week. Thanks Mabel.
