Has the cancer spread into other body organs such as the liver or lungs?
What kind of therapy she is receiving now?

The therapy depends on stage of cancer.
If she has very advanced cancer, it may not be possible for a surgeon to remove it. She may also not be well enough for a big operation.
She is given chemotherapy (cancer pill) to shrink the cancer as much as possible and to slow it down.
Sometimes, radiotherapy is used to relieve symptoms, depending on where in the body the cancer has spread.

How is your grandmother doing?
Do you know the stage of her cancer?
