I've been on Ortho tri-cyclin lo for about 4 years. I've had recent complication in getting my perscription filled a few months ago. I ended up missing nearly three weeks on the pill and had unprotected sex a week prior to missing the first pill.

It's been about 4-5 weeks and I have still not received my period. I have taken a two pregnancy tests, 4 days apart in the last week and half and they both showed up negative. I have refilled my perscription but I haven't started up the pill because I didn't know if I should wait until I started my period again for it to be work properly.

I'm nervous because I haven't started my period. Should I take another pregnancy test? Is there a possiblity that both tests were inaccurate? Should I start taking the pill again or should I wait for my period to show up? I'm so nervous and confused.
