Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo - skipping period ?
Posted: 05-20-08 11:11am

My boyfriend and I planned a little trip to San Diego and we booked the room already. Then I realized that weekend I will be having my period. I'm on Ortho Tri Cycle Lo right now, when I was on Tri Nessa I skipped my period once by starting a new pack instead of the inactive pills. Could that be possible for low dose pills? I suffer from really bad cramps and heavy bleeding Crying
or Very sad . I want to be able to enjoy this trip.

Yes, you can definitely skip your period. I would suggest trying it a few months in advance, it's more likely to work if you start early.

it's actually next month. Sad I don't want to do it every month. Just for the first week of June cause that's when we're going. So, you think it would be fine even if I'm taking a low dose pill. I knw I'll probably have spotting, right?
