Your friend's first symptom is more than likely going to be a missed period, shortly followed by painful breasts and possibly nausea, although not every pregnant woman gets the nausea.

If she has missed a period, she needs to take a pregnancy test so she can know for sure if she is pregnant. Speculating based on what symptoms she may or may not have is counter-productive and a waste of time and energy.
