Q: Orgasm feelings ?

My friend Hannah and I have an extremely open relationship (probably because we've been friends all our lives) and we were talking the other night and she was telling me that she doesn't know how to tell if she's having an orgasm. She's never had sex but she masturbates frequently (almost everyday, apparently) I couldn't really answer her question so we went online but couldn't find any definite answers. She says she'll put on porn and go straight to stimulating her clitoris with her hand. She says that she gets very lubricated very quickly and she can feel her clitoris swelling and hardening, and then she rubs it very hard back and forth with her hand. These are pretty basic things. The problem is, she has to stop right when her muscles tense up because it feels as though in one instant there are a million fired up nerve endings in her clitoris all of a sudden and her body goes rigid (a normal symptom of orgasm, we know), but then she has to stop rubbing her clitoris because the feeling is so intense that it's almost like it's burning. My question is, is this how it's supposed to work? If you keep stimulating your clitoris when you get that almost unbearable feeling as though it's burning, will that lead to an orgasm? I don't really understand exactly the sensation she means, but I'm thinking that that burning feeling is the climax and if she keeps stimulating it, it'll elevate to an orgasm. Does that sound right to anyone? Does anyone know of or understand that feeling and what it means? I really have no experience in these matters.

I'm pretty sure that she's stopping right before her climax. I haven't had sex much, but I do masturbate relatively frequently.

That tenseness, and burning, is the last big climb. It can be a strange sensation, and even scary, to someone who doesn't know what to expect. However, that sensation is also the one that lets me know (and I'm sure many others!) that they're about to orgasm! It happens in seconds if the stimulation continues. I'll try to explain it, but it's difficult since it's a little different for everyone.

That tenseness is unbearable! Every muscles gets all tight, and I can see why people would stop thinking that they just can't go on. However, if you do, then you should orgasm, and your body feels like it instantly relaxes. You might twitch because of the pleasure, but light stimulation during an orgasm can feel amazing! It's hard to explain, but yes, continuing stimulation can feel great! (I'm surprised she ever stopped once she got to that point! haha) Good luck, and I suggest you explore your sexuality too. It helps you understand your body more, and can make sex more enjoyable whenever you do decide to take that step in a relationship, because you already know what you like! Very Happy Best of luck to you friend!
