This is really weird, but it has happened a few times. After an intense orgasm, I will often get a ache in the back of my head, right above my neck, to my left of the spine. This is normally accompanied by a stiff neck. It takes a few hours to go away. Any idea why this is?

Headache after orgasm is a specific type of primary headache with unknown cause. You may take some painkillers if the headache is unbearable.

I believe this happens due to tensing up. Like every muscle in your body constricts with an incredibly intense orgasm, and there is a possibility of causing a stress headache from this. -- I get them sometimes too.
