laughablelove, An orgasm is characterized by changes in your body and feelings, not in anything that comes out of you.

One of the advantages of masturbation is that you can experiment and try different things until you can figure out exactly what makes you orgasm. At that stage masturbation will become very focused and relatively short in duration, unless you chose to prolong it. So once you understand your body, feelings and sexual response, you should move from the long extended masturbation sessions that will become boring to shorter and focused sessions that will bring you all the pleasure and health benefits related to orgasms. There are really no reason at all to masturbate if you do not orgasm from it. One of the reasons that women do not orgasm from masturbation is that they stop too soon.

After you get aroused (wet, and engorged with blood), you enter the plateau phase of your sexual response cycle. During this time, your heart rate and breathing rate will increase dramatically. Stress and tension will build up in your genitals. Muscles all over your body may tense up, your breasts and nipples will grow in size. This will continue until it feels like you wand to 'burst' and is suddenly release in waves of heat, muscle contractions and pleasure. This is orgasm. These waves of heat, pleasure and contractions in your vagina, clitoris, cervix, uterus and anus is the orgasm that will release all that unbearable tension that built up during the arousal and plateua phases.

During your orgasm, your body and muscles may twitch and spasm, your hands may grab at things, you might make involuntary spasms and sounds. Research showed that your brain will go into a trance for a short period of time and your pain threshold will go very very high. Hormones are released into your brain that will make you feel happy, content and sleepy. After a while these same hormones can make you feel guilty and ashamed as they leave your body. When you have a partner, these hormones make you bond with your partner.

The goal during masturbation is to concentrate on this tension and to keep it building. Concentrate on the feelings and only do things that make your craving for release worse. The muscles in your legs and thighs should be tensed, not relaxed. Once the orgasmic release start, you should these muscles.

I hope this helps.

LaughableLove, LOL, it is only gross if you do not understand what is happening.

When you gt excited, a lot of changes take place in your genitals. You have arousal fluid from your vaginal walls. This is plasma being squeezed out of your vagina's wall because of all the blood pumped into your genitals, there is cervical mucus coming from your cervix at the top end of your vagina. These secretions can be very wet when you are close to ovulation. There are secretions from the Skene's glands (around your pee hole, and the Bartholin's glands around your vaginal opening. Some women also have a 'female prostrate' and fluid will come from there and drip or squirt out from your pee hole.

All this fluid is to prepare your vagina to help sperm get to your eggs. It cleans out germs and dirt and neutralize the pH so that sperm will survive. It also lubricates your insides to allow the penis to glide in and out without hurting you.

The normal way a woman orgasm is through stimulating her clitoris. You should never stimulate your clitoris directly, only through the hood (the skin that hides your clitoris when you are not aroused. You can try to rub up and down along the clitoris, over it, around it, with your finger/s, with your flat palm, your breasts and nipples will react to squeezing, rubbing and pinching. Your lips, between them, and your vaginal opening are also sensitive to touch. You can even stick your finger inside your vagina. Rub the vaginal wall closest to your belly with the ball of your finger, up and down. left and right and around in circles.

Your clitoris goes deep into your body. It looks like a fish hook and it's got bulbs runs underneath your labia. Just before you orgasm, an extra rush of blood is pumped into it, it gets VERY sensitive. The shape makes it pull back under its hood when this happens. At that stage you should stimulate other parts of your vulva.

You can also use water. Use your hand shower to run water over your clitoris. Or stick your legs up next to the spout of your bath to let the water run over your clitoris.

Always change the force you apply, sometimes soft and gentle, other times hard and fast.

It should never be painful. It is irritating, stressful, agonizing while the tension builds up. You should feel a craving to have all the tension release itself, not pain.

I'm experiencing similar things except my build up gets to a point where I can't go on because it is so sensitive and I get far to tired. I have never felt the feeling of release which everyone talks about, so does that mean my orgasms don't finish or that they are just different??

LLLF, it sounds like you are stopping just short of the orgasm. Getting there is like rolling a heavy barrel up a hill. When you get to the top, the barrel will just take over and tumble down to the bottom, leaving you panting. That tumbling down is your orgasm. Only you can say if you orgasm. Nobody else can. And the massive and sudden release is unmistakeable.

You should not touch your clitoris directly during masturbation. Only touch it through it's hood. Stroke next to it, over it, around it, stroke and squeeze your breasts, around your vaginal entrance. Use fingers, use the palm of your hand, tap, stroke, grind. Use lubricant to keep things very slippery. Stroke the inside of your vagina. When your clitoris gets that sensitive. Never touch it directly when it is so sensitive.

Best of luck!

That was all very helpful! I have a question about the guilty feeling after masturbating. Anytime i masturbate i feel this rush of excitement and right after i orgasm i immediately feel guilty about it and then a few hours later i become super aroused again and feel super excited and after i masturbate again i feel guilty again. This has been happening since i was 10. Why does someone feel guilty after masturbating and does it happen to everyone?

Wet like what? Did you orgasm?

Not all women ejaculate, squirt or gush.

When did this start? Do you also smell it when you masturbate?

If it was recently, make sure you did not forget a tampon inside.

A bad foul smell is normally a bacterial infection (BV) that is treated by your doctor using a dose of antibiotics.

It is true that we all smell, but it should not be a particularly bad smell. We may not like it, but it drives men crazy. It contains pheromones and are sexually attractive to men.

A strong or bad smell is normally an infection.

Ask your doctor to test your vaginal bacteria for BV (bacterial vaginosis).

Do not try to treat it yourself.
