When did this happen?
How many times she has experienced such "orange oil" in the stool?
Does she have any other symptoms?

It's from the fish! Namely escolar, which has digestive problem of its own. It can't break down waxes that naturally occur in its diet, so it stores them as oil in its flesh. The human body can't digest the fat and waxes in escolar. Not at all. Our bodies extract the fats, which are liquid at our body temperature, and excrete them through the back end.

When fat isn't digested properly, you can have that orange oil in your stools. Maybe it signifies something more serious, like a digestive problem, but before you panic you should ask her if she's tried the drug Alli or orlistat. It's available over the counter for weight loss. It keeps you from digesting part of the fat in what you eat, so you end up with exactly that side effect--oily orange stools.
