ok. i have a very active imagenation, and i was thinking about what keeps the eye in the socket. and is the eye,optic nerve, and brain all one peice that connect to each other? and also how strong is the optic nerve?

Well considering our eyes don't just fall out, I'd say they are just as strong as they need to be. Part of what keeps the eye in the socket IS the socket.

Of course they are all connected as one piece, you could say that for your entire body....all of it functions as one: your brain and eyes tell you that you are going to walk up some stairs because you see them and then you go up those stairs with the legs that are connected to the rest of your body and your brain and your eyes that saw the stairs in the first place.
