Q: Opioid narcotics , mineral deficiencies , and muscle weakness

What could this be? some say fibromyalgia, i have researched and dont think its that but i do feel its a neuromuscular problem and its taken away my life. I have seen one neuro as my dr thought i had MS but the MRI were clear.I am due to see another neurologist on May the 7th but could do with some advise in the mean time.

It is hard to say what causes the symptoms you described. When you talk to the neurologist, you might want to discus with him if taking the opioid narcotics might have affected your neural system.


On the other hand, lack of calcium and/or magnesium might be a possible reason for muscle weakness. You might want to have laboratory tests to check calcium and magnesium blood levels.
