Ok here's my story...

1) I held my pee and felt a UTI coming on. Went to the doc's and he prescribed me bactrim. Bactrim always seems to cause me yeast infections so I asked for Diflucan while I was there.

2) Took the Bactrim for 5 days and sure enough...had a yeast infection. Took the diflucan. The discharge seemed to go away but started creeping back.

3) Went back to the doc and they gave me three more diflucan and told me to do three days of monistate. I took the diflucan in the morning and the monistate at night. Took it and it seemed to work but the discharge creeped back yet again. While I was cleared up for the few hours; I decided to take a vagisil kit to test the ph. It was 4.5 (normal).

4) Went back to the doc. This time the discharge was "frothy" like the stuff on a cappacino. Prior the discharge looked like a sponge He took a culture this time and asked if it was ok to test the sample for STD's. I said "sure". After all; I want to get this issue under control regardless of what it is. Oh I should mention that I do have HPV right now (the kind that could cause the cervical cancer) so I do realize that my immune system is at a slight disadvantage. While I'm there; he prescribes 3 diflucan and 7 days of metronidazole pills.

5) I took 1 diflucan but stopped once I read that the metronizole is another antibiotic. I continued with the metronidazole for 3 days.

6) I called to get my lab results and they said everything that came back from the lab so far was negative. Which included; yeast, BV, and tricamonas "trick". The only thing that didn't come back yet were the Chlymadia and Ghonnerra. Which I'm assuming will be negative since a)my discharge didn't happen til after I took the bactrim b) Bactrim is used to treat both Chlymadia and Gohnerai.

So finally here is my question.... what is this?

I've done everything I can to keep ventilation down there and I don't eat alot of sugurery foods. I'm expecting my period to start in about two days and they are very light due to having a IUD (mirena - had it in for about 2 years).
