hey all
in december last year at around christmas i started to get really dizzy
first of all it started as just fairly persistant nausea
then i began to feel dizzy and nauseated
then i progressed to headaches so bad i used to just cry and cry about it till my parents had to take me to the emergency room
i was that bad for about 3 months
its now nearly 12 months on, its been 10 months now and im still not back to normal, i get odd feelings in the chest, i feel nautious on and off, but never seem to vomit, and also a perculiar feeling in the head, kind of like spacey, now granted im no where near as sick as i was it hasn't gone away completely yet, which worries me, ive had countless blood tests, ranging from standard ones, all the way through to specific diseases, ive had every disease test imaginable, ive had ct scan of head, abdomen, mri of brain, urine and fecal test, ive seen a gastro enteroogist and neaurologist, and nothings been found
should i be worried that they cant find anything?
also something to note, i was put on anti depressants because i was so upset about being ill, im now off them, and the symptoms have become less serious, but never the less haven[t goner away.
i guess theres nothing else i can do
im only 23
and it all came on all of a sudden
never been sick in my life till now

10 month virus
Hi Dkaneh,

I know exactly how you feel. I am 27 and have been sick for exactly ten months. March 2008 I began to experience extreme vertigo and nausea (though I never vomited) and was unable to stand for almost an entire month. I then developed severe ear aches, indigestion, headaches and a really weird sensation in my head. Almost as if a thick fog had settled in my brain. Initially I couldn't concentrate and felt very fragile and disconnected. Eventually I developed major anxiety and could barely leave the house I was so worried about my health. My extreme symptoms have improved however I am still sick and I feel like I am literally losing my mind. I was hospitalized numerous times and underwent countless examinations including every blood test and x-ray imaginable. I have visited with countless physicians and I am yet to be diagnosed. Since this past July I have also developed gastrointestinal problems which will come and go every few weeks. I too was never sick before this nightmare began. Let me know if you have been updated on your condition. Stay as strong as you can.
