Hi, I was recently diagnosed with mononucleosis in December when I was on winter break from college this past year. It is now almost February and I still get occasional pains in my breast, head aches, aches around my eye/eyebrow and now recently, I started to get pain around the side of my left palm where it is really annoying me. May be it is joint pain there. i could not type last night with my left hand. I had a blood test done (obviously to figure out what I had) and my hepatic function, liver enzymes, both WBCs and RBCs were fine except that the EBV was positive.
I understand that mono can last more than 1 month...but I still feel tired at times and I have occassional pains in my head and forehead and left palm.
Is it just the joint pain associated with mono? How long does this go on for?

I need to concentrate on school which seems a little difficult now. (i dont have trouble breathing --last semester right before finals I had to sign myself into the ER because of excruciating pain in my armpit/breasts ..which is probably the lymph nodes!)
Help! Thank you!
