One purple lump

I am 17 years old, Recently I have noticed one small purple lump on my anus. It does not itch burn or hurt, I do not bleed when I go to the bathroom, and it does not impair any defication. I am hoping that is not serious, I do not look forward to going to the doctor to get this checked, please tell me that it is something simple and nothing like anal cancer or Hemorrhoids, there is only one and does not hurt to touch, and I thought only old people got Hemorrhoids and anal cancer.. please help!
