I started my new BC packet on the 29th of May (I've been on it since February).
I had sex on the 3rd of June, but forgot to take my pill that night. I usually take it around 11:00 pm or 11:30 pm. Sometimes as late as 12:00 am.

I woke up at 10 am the next morning, the 4th, and realized I'd forgotten it. I took it then, less than 12 hours after I usually take it, and took my next one at my usual time that night.

My BC info says to do that if I miss just one pill. It also says that I don't need to use a backup form of protection if I have sex. Does that apply retroactively?

How soon can I get an accurate reading on a home pregnancy test?

If you didn't miss the pill until AFTER you had sex, there should be no problem.
