Here is my situation. I have been on Yaz for two weeks and had unprotected sex( with no climax on either of our parts) on day 14 after taking my pill. The pill packet says you are protected after 7 days, and I have heard to be safe wait two weeks and then sometimes a month. Now I have also been told that waiting a month is a precaution set forth in case u forget pills. I have taken my pills at the same time everyday for these last two weeks. It is also my first time on BC. Should I get Plan B?

No, if you have been taking your pill as directed, you were covered from the 7th day after starting. Plan B is just a high dose birth control pill, and you have already been taking birth control pills for a while.

Why would you trust what other people tell you but not what the company that developed and tested the pill and that had to get everything reviewed and approved by the FDA tell you? Surely these sources are the authority on everything around these pills.
