Hi All,
Lately ive been having some problems with my back that are starting to worry and get me down.. I am male 32 years old 12 and a half stone 6ft eat healthly and train 4 times a week.
To describe the pain...
Lower right back off center. Sharp instant hit of pain followed by uncomfortable feeling and slight hum of pain thereafter for a anything between 20 minutes to 4 hours. Sometimes its feels like my right glute is going to cramp.
Is triggering almost everytime I remotely bend over from the waist.
A brief history,
It started by sometimes triggering when I would over extend to pick something up.. it would twinge and then hurt for a few days or even a week(that feeling where you cant stand up quite properly. This happened in frequently like once every 3 months or so...
Then about 8 weeks ago i was doing low row exercise and as i was releasing the cable my lower right twinged painfully.. I was consigned to a week of uncomfortableness.. but strangely by the next morning the pain had gone.
I then twinged it on 2 further occasions and similarly the pain would generally subside within a day. The difference was it was occuring more regular.
I then had a week where it twinged twice while getting up off a desk chair and then once while picking up something off the floor. I started to lose confidence in my back to be able to hold up at all.
I decided to go to a osteopath. 2 weeks ago. He found my spine to be quite misshapen and cracked it all pretty much back into place.
My back actually felt great for about 5 days then i started getting a very slight sensation through my right leg... I went back to see him last week and he did his thing and it felt great again. until i got out of my car on the way home and it hurt again.
Everyday now I have twinged it. picking up a cup from the side table putting some clothes away.
Do I continue to see the Osteopath, or try a chiropractor? I havent been to the doctors yet should I? Or should I jsut try resting it as best as possible..
Freaking out as it is really starting to affect everything I do, whereas before it was something that only happened every so often.
Thanks for reading/
