Q: Odorless light brown discharge

i am 13, and i haven't started my period yet. i have never had sex before, or oral or anything, but i have odorless light brown discharge. i put a couple tissues in my underwear last night (i thought i might start my period) and there was a small about of the discharge, and when i wipe its there too. i usually have white discharge, but i no longer have it, and the light brown discharge has started. it just started last night, and this morning i had it too. could this be a sign i am about to start my period? is this a bad thing? please help.

It could be a sign that you are about to have your period. I am more concerned about the white discharge you have been experiencing. Sounds like you have a yeast infection- which all women get at one time or another and is perfectly normal.

White/clear/cream colored discharge is normal (as long as it is relatively odorless).

Brown discharge can sometimes mean a period is coming. If it isn't - I would recommend having it checked out.
