Ear, Nose and Throat Disorders Forum - Odor coming from thoat

I have been getting this rotten odor coming from my throat the past two weeks . I don't eat late at night so I don't know what it is.
A friend of mine suggested that it might be from smoking cigarettes (she told me that just a few weeks ago one of her other friends had the same problem and they happen to smoke also).
I just really want to know why this could be happening so I can start fixing it!!
