Q: Odds of HIV ?

I performed oral sex on a woman saying she was clean for about 30 seconds mid-July, 2008. I then had sex with my wife multiple times after that. After coming clean with her she had an HIV test in October, 2008 and another in December, 2008 (three and five months after my encounter). Both of her tests came up NEG, any chance I could be positive? Recently I have had a lingering running nose and congestion and some headaches and constipation and my wife has got a bruise on her leg and had diarrehia the other day. This is May, 2009 (10 months after my encounter). Any chance one or both of us is infected? ANY help/advice greatly appreciated!

Good for you for coming clean with your wife. Bless your soul. Most people don't have the guts to reveal what they have done. Silence only makes things worse.

You have not indicated if you have gone for a test yourself and you should go for one to clear your mind once and for all.

The symptoms you have mentioned happen in life with or without HIV. Get tested man. One needle prick, wait a couple of weeks and then you know for sure.

Do it...
