Q: Odd Sensation During Sexual Activity

Okay, hope someone might have some insight on this. Very good. About two years ago, right during orgasm during sex I had this strange sensation inside my anus. It almost felt like I went to the bathroom. A few weeks later and after terrible pain, an abscess from hell and eventually fistula surgery, it seems it was linked to this, whatever it is. Occasionally afterwards, I will sometimes get this same sensation during orgasm. The surgery was fine though it has caused moderate hemroids. They're not really a problem, but sometimes it almost feels like things are swollen inside there, and during sex I get this strange sensation (the same one as before) that feels sort of like something emptying or perhaps moving (like a muscle perhaps). I was curious was this sensation is because when it happens I get scared to death for a few days afterwards because of all the agony I went through with the fistula. Any comments would be appreciated. And no, I don't have any sort of bowel disease or anything, I was told it was 'bad luck,' but the occasional sensation that occurs is the same thing so I'm wondering what it is and the possible connection. My theory was that I had an internal hemroid (since they usually don't cause any pain) and perhaps it somehow blocked one of the anal crypts due to muscular contractions during sex. Not sure, but that's how a fistula begins to form. Anyway, post away.

Seeing my husband had this same surgery, I know where you are...I would have this checked out if it shows any sign of acting up...He just about had to have a bag as the abscess had worked it's way all the way through and into the body cacity...This started as a hemorrhoid that a doctor decided to lance..I know that he was checked out for a year or two after he was released....Too long ago to remember...

Take care,
Caroline

The surgery is fine, all of that is over. What basically happens is that, when going to the bathroom, my body is obviously interpreting the scar left inside there as something to release, which it's not. This in turn causes the hemroids to swell up slightly. It's really not a problem at all. I was mainly concerned about the odd sensation during sex, but thanks for the input.
